92. @pigmentsbyLeah answers: What Type Of Scar Is That?

PMU School: A Podcast For Artists by Artists

Almost all of us have scars. Some are a fun reminder of something crazy we’ve done. Other times though, they can become a pain point both physically and emotionally. A painful reminder of something that you’d rather not remember. Some scars even interfere with every day life, leaving a person feeling restricted and unable to do the things they want. If this is the case, scar camouflage can make a huge impact. However, it’s crucial to know what type of scar you are working with before you begin any type of treatment. On today’s episode, @pigmentsbyleah talks about different types of scars and the inspiration behind why she began her journey into paramedical tattooing.

Leah Poulsen is the Founder of Pigments by Leah, located in Utah and specializing in scars and paramedical tattooing. Prior to opening her studio, Leah worked as a Designer and User Interface Designer for 10 years but felt a huge desire to create (with her hands, not a computer) and, more importantly, to help people! She learned about Paramedical Tattooing and was instantly hooked! Since then, she has come to absolutely love how freeing scar camouflage can be for her clients. Leah wants all of her clients to leave her office feeling like they can conquer the world without feeling hindered by scars! Reach out to her with any questions on Instagram @pigmentsbyleah!
