98. Amanda Rose @hyvebeauty: Let's Talk About TEXT Baby!

PMU School: A Podcast For Artists by Artists

You probably send text messages to your friends and family on a daily basis. Why not? Texting is a fast and easy way to communicate. On the other hand, it can sometimes feel impersonal and lead to miscommunication. But, what if you just don’t have the time to call your client? Should you email them? Is there another way? Amanda Rose @hyvebeauty shares one of her favorite “life hacks”, guaranteed to improve your customer relationships and increase your bookings!

Amanda Rose is a serial entrepreneur with over 20+ years in marketing, branding and building disruptive intelligent business. She has worked across numerous industries and sectors from large blue-chip companies, government agencies and corporations. Her heart though, is in small business. Her work and passion for entrepreneurship has led her to win a number of prestigious awards and recognition for her efforts and positive impacts on the community. She is an ardent champion of building relationships and sharing her stories (including her EPIC “failures” in business) in the hopes of inspiring others to make bold moves forward, despite the stories they may hold about themselves.

Upon entering the Permanent Makeup industry 3+ years ago, she quickly saw an opportunity for a PMU supply company to show up to offer higher quality products at more affordable pricing enabling artists to better grow their businesses. The other goal of this new company was to also be a dedicated source of support and community for artists in this highly competitive industry. With a modest 48 products on their online store, January 4th 2017, Microblade Canada was born! Now 3 years later the company has grown and evolved to become HYVE Beauty which offers over 600+ quality PMU, Lash, Henna and Beauty products to artists worldwide with her International Training Location HYVE Space opening Spring 2020.

Customer experience, support and true connection is foundational to how Amanda builds business. Her focus is always on long term relationships not short-term transactions which often sets her apart from other competing beauty supply businesses. Everything her team does is for the best possible experience and outcome for their artists, including researching, sourcing, testing and offering the best new products to HYVE Beauty customers! Over the past 4 years she feels so fortunate to have cultivated a community of collaboration where industry artists and educators give of their time, their knowledge and valuable energy. Her personal motto in life & business “A candle loses nothing by lighting another.”
